#UFGC20 (Urban Future Global Conference 2020) Kicks off in Lisbon
The Urban Future Global Conference is one of the world’s biggest forums on #SustainableCities, it will happen in #Lisbon April 1–3 2020, when Lisbon will be Europe’s #ECGA2020 “Green Capital”.
Last night the inspiring #UFGC20 process kicked-off in Lisbon with 3 great presentations from 3 women #CityChangers; Clara Muzzio from Buenos Aires; Ellen de Vibe from Oslo and Maria Vassilakou from Vienna. Between the showed Lisbon what is possible and spoke of #righttothecity, deep local democracy, #JaneJacobs, wild urban areas & municipal participation.
In finishing, Lisbon’s mayor Fernando Medina stated the cities commitment to supporting a growing green movement of #CityChangers. We hope our Urbana project can also assist in this process to create #SustainableJustCities.
